"Revising requires us to experiment, take risks, and confront the limits of what we have in front of our eyes." This evening of movement and performance features new works created by student choreographers.	Pushing beyond the boundaries of my creative limits, I taught myself to play the violin, sing, and dance mathematically complex rhythmic footwork simultaneously. Coordinating the physical movements of playing a string instrument while singing and choreographing intricate percussive footwork seemed impossible. So I kept honing my craft and never gave up. The metaphors and symbolism in this ballad have a very powerful message that I present through Kathak, an Indian Artform that requires tremendous stamina and skill to dance fast footwork and lightning-speed pirouettes with five pounds of strung bells on each ankle!
